Westchester Chamber Soloists' second concert of the 2025-26 season will be Sunday, November 23 at Sarah Lawrence College.

Event and Season Subscription Tickets can be purchased via the WCS website. (Sarah Lawrence College Faculty, Staff and Students will receive free admission).

Our Sarah Lawrence Chamber Choir performs Britten, Trotta, and Orban, followed by our annual celebration of chamber music performed by our students in nine Chamber Music Ensembles. Composers include Mozart, Handel, Versel, Beethoven, Menotti, Finzi, Corelli, Martinu, and Piazzolla. 

Singers in the studio of Kirsten Brown will delight us with a variety of songs from theater selections, classics, and original student compositions.

Join us on December 4th for our Community Reading & Winter Celebration! This year, we're celebrating one of our on campus classes with a showcase of student readers from Kathy Curto's First Page to First Draft workshop. Come hear students work, meet fellow writers from the community, and enjoy refreshments. We look forward to toasting the semester with you! This event is free & open to the public. RSVP here.

Wo Chan who performs as The Illustrious Pearl is a poet and drag artist. They are a winner of the 2020 Nightboat Poetry Prize and the author of TOGETHERNESS which won the 2023 Publishing Triangle Award for Trans and Gender-Variant Literature, and was a finalist for the 2023 CLMP Firecracker Award. Wo has received fellowships from MacDowell, New York Foundation of the Arts, Kundiman, The Asian American Writers Workshop, Poets House, and Lambda Literary. As a member of the Brooklyn based drag/burlesque collective Switch N' Play, Wo has performed at The Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA PS1, National Sawdust, New York Live Arts and elsewhere. They hold a BA from the University of Virginia and an MFA in Poetry from New York University. Born in Macau, Wo lives in Brooklyn, New York. Find them at @theillustriouspearl.

Congratulations to our winter graduates! 

Graduating students will receive four guest passes for this celebration. We look forward to formally acknowledging and celebrating our winter graduates’ accomplishments as part of spring commencement in May. Information on how to participate in Commencement 2026 will be shared with graduates after the new year.
